The challenge with staffing augmentation is that it is often looked at, simply as, temporary staffing. Many times, organizations do not give too much thought to the staff’s commitment and aspirations. After all, aren’t they just there to perform a job for a short time and then move on? Well, not necessarily.

At CereCore, we believe the differentiation between a high-performing candidate and an average performance is the personal care that goes into the individuals and it starts by selecting the talent who is committed to the cause of healthcare. This is why our mission statement is ‘The Link to Life-Saving Care’ which permeates throughout our organization from our managed services team to application support to advisory and staffing. Our employees reflect who we are. That’s why we hire individuals who understand, support and have a passion for our healthcare mission. We also care for each individual as family, since they are part of our team and ultimately our client’s team. This is why we have been voted Best in Staffing by both our talent and clients for the past 4 consecutive years.

Our head of commercial recruiting, Mr. Caleb Potter put it best: “At our company, we believe that the foundation of exceptional service begins with our employees. By prioritizing their well-being and development, we create a culture of dedication and innovation. This commitment extends to our clients, where we invest time in deeply understanding their needs, ensuring that every solution we provide is tailored to exceed their expectations. Our people-first approach not only fosters a positive work environment but also drives us to deliver value to those we serve.”

When choosing to partner with a staffing firm, choose the one that invests in its talent and knows the value they bring to their organization and their client’s. We believe a great staffing firm should include these 3 things:

  1. A firm that offers a broad set of services.  This is an important factor as firms with a broader set of services will have other resources that can assist the contingent staff.  All of our staff are partnered with an experienced internal resource who provides support as needed. Our experienced internal resources also actively participate in screening and interviewing candidates, so even the selection process is improved. A broad service offering also allows for vendor consolidation, which is a significant benefit for organizations. This consolidation minimizes management overhead, takes advantage of economies of scale, and provides a partner that gets to know the organization and can assist in multiple areas.
  2. A staffing partner that does not send out an influx of resumes, not even bothering to evaluate the candidate first.  A good partner will want to understand your culture, team dynamics and all the things that are critical but may not be listed in a job description. By doing this, it allows your recruiter to deliver fewer, but higher-quality candidates for your review.
  3. A personalized onboarding guide for their employees. At CereCore each new team member is assigned an onboarding coordinator who guides them through the process. We want to ensure not only their individual needs are met but also that we are fully compliant with our client’s HR and onboarding needs. First impressions matter and are just as important as the first few days in a new role.

As Herb Kelleher, the founder of Southwest Airlines said: "Your employees come first. And if you treat your employees right, guess what? Your customers come back."  This is what we believe in and this is why our clients and our colleagues keep coming back to work with us.  This philosophy ensures the greatest success in our clients’ projects and work and that is all the differentiator that we need in the market.
