CereCore colleagues gather annually for Connection, an event focused on building strategic plans, encouraging teamwork through community services, and celebrating achievements. Teams and colleagues who consistently go above and beyond for clients, communities and colleagues receive awards recognizing their expertise.

Accolades from clients, leaders, and peers included in the nomination process illustrate the many ways this year’s award winners embody dedication to excellence and quality service in healthcare technology. President and CEO Curtis Watkins honored these talented individuals for the invaluable contributions:

  • Community Link Award, Lareen Schmitt. Lareen is active in her community and a much depended upon volunteer at Purradise Gardens, a cat rescue. She supports other non-profits, too, including Book'em.
  • Consultant Award, Devon Dow. Devon has continually found ways to become part of the MEDITECH Professional Services Team. Using her vast knowledge of MEDITECH she is always able to jump into whatever role is requested of her. She has been successful on multiple projects and assessment visits for potential clients.
  • Customer Advocate Award, Della Johnson. Della’s ability to work with multiple facets and resources for MEDHOST Emergency Department Information System (EDIS) application is amazing. She is the liaison to multiple CHS Directors, has a strong work ethic, is a top performer, and always volunteers when there is an opportunity to learn a new application.
  • Emerging Leader Award, John Walsh. John began as a senior consultant specializing in implementations and revenue cycle optimization work. Now a new manager, his easy, even keel approach is cherished by his direct reports. John has a knack for building highly effective teams where clients and his team feel incredibly supported.
  • Game Changer Award, Mike Dean. Mike has positively impacted CereCore’s business by bringing his knowledge, years of industry experience, and calm demeanor. Balancing strategy and details, he has encouraged growth through open dialogue and active listening.
  • The Link Award, Hannah Woods. Hannah is described by her colleagues as detail-oriented and committed to overcoming obstacles. She is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment in which processes are constantly developing. She has a positive can-do attitude and is comfortable translating complex ideas and issues to all audiences.

Teamwork and collaboration are hallmarks of CereCore’s workplace, and these US and UK teams were recognized for their efforts from Epic to MEDITECH projects.

  • Collaboration Award, US/UK Recruiting Teams. The US and UK Recruiting team have honed a recruiting approach for HCA UK Expanse programme roles that leveraged opportunities to learn from each other while establishing processes quickly.
  • Innovation Award, Automation Team. The Automation team has been working behind the scenes to power the HCA Expanse effort by using automation to streamline and optimize a variety of tasks from built to testing.
  • Technology Award, Epic Team. With a recent Epic Teletracking implementation for a large health system, this team skillfully delivered integrations while facing challenging circumstances and demonstrated their commitment to ensure the best outcomes for end users and patients.
